Comment Policy
If you are a reasonable person, and don’t like to insult other people, you should have no problem commenting on any of my posts. However, my comment policy is as follows:
Editing Comments
I may edit comments when…
- They have spelling or grammatical errors
- You put your name at the bottom of your comment. Don’t bother because it’ll already be displayed
Deleting Comments
I may delete comments when…
- They are obviously spam
- They contain little content except a link to another web site. If you want to tell me you’ve talked about one of my posts, please send a ping or trackback
- The person who comments insults others. Disagree with opinions and ideas; that’s fine. Just don’t go insulting people personally
- They contain enough expletives for me to find them offensive
- They do not contain a valid e-mail address
Generally, as long as you talk about the content of the original post, or the content of another comment, you should be fine, but if you do break my rules, your comment will be either edited or deleted.
